Freshman Parents Weekend

Friday, October 3 - Saturday October 4, 2008

     Friday's Events:

9am-5pm	Registration Attend Classes with your son or daughter!
2pm	Health Services Presentation
3pm	Undergraduate Academic Overview
4pm	"Facilitating Your Son's/Daughter's Successful Transition to College"
4pm, 8pm	Women's Volleyball vs. City College (4pm), Clarkson University (8pm)
5:30pm	Parents Reception *Music provided by the Stevens Jazz Band

     Saturday's Events:

8am-1pm	Registration
9am	Fun Run
10am, 12pm, 2pm	Women's Volleyball
10:30am, 1:30pm	Walking Tours of Hoboken WALKING TOURS ARE CURRENTLY FILLED TO CAPACITY - please check the day-of for cancellations
10:30am	Introduction to Cooperative Education
11am, 1pm	Davidson Lab Overview and Tour space is limited
11:30am	Introduction to Career Development
12pm-4:30pm	Stevens Community Barbeque
1pm	Men's Soccer vs. St. John Fisher
1:30pm	Performing Arts Showcase - featuring Stevens student performers
4pm	Field Hockey vs. Ithaca

Parking Facilities

Parking is available on campus but spaces are very limited.  Please see below for additional parking facilities:

Municipal Garages:

at Second Street, between River and Hudson

at 215 Hudson Street, between 2nd and 3rd

at 315 Hudson Street, between 3rd and 4th

Directions from Garages to Stevens:

From each garage, go to Hudson Street and turn right.  At Fourth Street, you will come to a park.  Cut diagonally through the park, on the other side, Fifth Street, is DeBaun Auditorium.  Cross Fifth Street, and with the Auditorium on your left, walk to the gates of Lower Campus, which will be on your right as you approach Sixth Street.  Continue through the gates and up the hill to the Wesley J. Howe Center.
