Interested in an alternative Spring Break trip?
This Spring we’re heading down to Wilmington, Delaware to work with UrbanPromise ministry. UrbanPromise is a non-profit organization that is committed to raising up the next generation of urban Christian leaders. UP works with some of the toughest neighborhoods of the city, running afterschool programs, summer camps as well as job-training programs for teenagers.
We will spend the week:
+Improving UrbanPromise facilities
+Helping local organizations with service in the city
+Tutoring and playing with kids at the UP afterschool program
+Taking part of worship, discussion groups, and social activities
+Building relationships with kids, teens, other groups and staff
To find out how to be part of this amazing opportunity to impact the lives of those around us, join us on Wednesday night fellowship at Babbio 104, or simply email us at scf@stevens.edu.
