WHO IS
YOUR ADVOCATE?
All students receive a personal advocate in the OCD.
You have been assigned an “advocate” based on
your last name – your advocate is available to guide you through
your career development during your years at Stevens.
While you will have a personal advocate, it is important
to note that the entire Career Development staff is here for you, and
you are free to stop in on the Ninth Floor of the Howe Center to talk
with any one of us for questions, guidance and help throughout your career
search.
We hold an "open door policy" throughout the year
for our students to walk in for help - no appointment necessary, although
it is wise to check with your advocate beforehand to ensure she is not
with another student. Office hours are 9 am to 5 pm, weekdays.
