Usernames and Password for Stevens Students
All Stevens Students Now Have Accounts On Stevens Pipeline
Students enrolled at Stevens have a Stevens Pipeline account.
These include:
- All regular full-time students
- Students enrolled in "off-site" graduate programs
- Graduate students whose courses meet on Saturdays only
- WebCampus students
- Faculty and employees of Stevens who take Stevens courses
Stevens Pipeline is a portal through which you can access technology resources including e-mail, Web For Students, course communication tools supplied by Pipeline, or access a WebCT virtual classroom if used for your class. You can also participate in Pipeline "groups", see personal and campus announcements, and more.
Your Pipeline username will be available once you are enrolled at Stevens.
Your Pipeline Username
Enter Stevens Pipeline at:
http://www.stevens.edu/pipeline
There is a link on the upper right part of the Pipeline logon page to find out your username.
NOTE: Stevens Pipeline usernames are NOT case sensitive. But your Pipeline password is case-sensitive!
Your Pipeline Password
Your initial Pipeline password is your Web for Students PIN. You will be required to create a new Pipeline password when you first log in to Pipeline. (Your Web For Students PIN will not be changed when you change the Pipeline password.)
Do not share your Pipeline password with anyone. If you lose or forget your Pipeline password after you have changed it, please contact the Information Technology Help Desk, (201) 216-5500.
Your Pipeline username is also your Pipeline e-mail address, in the format "username@stevens.edu".
An example of a Pipeline email address for "John Doe" with username "jdoe" is:
jdoe@stevens.edu
After logging into Pipeline, click the e-mail icon to manage your Stevens Pipeline e-mail. (You can use MS-Outlook to manage your Pipeline email if you prefer. For instructions, see link to Pipeline documentation below.)
Forwarding Pipeline E-mail to Another Address
You may forward your Stevens Pipeline e-mail to your preferred e-mail account if you wish. To do so, log into Pipeline, click on the e-mail icon, select the Options tab, then e-mail forwarding. Enter your preferred e-mail address.
Course Information and WebCT Access
Links to the courses in which are you enrolled should appear on the "My Courses" tab. Your courses will either have Pipeline course communication tools or a WebCT course area, if a course uses WebCT.
Announcements, Groups, and Calendars
Watch for Personal and Campus Announcements on the My Pipeline page. (You can delete a Personal Announcement once you have read it.)
You may join public "groups" using the Groups icon, or you may request membership is a private group. In addition, you may request a group and act as a leader. This is primarily for Registered Student Organizations but other types of groups may be requested. See the Groups tab for more information.
There is a Calendar icon where you can set up your own personal calendar. You may also look at calendars for any Pipeline groups you join, if the group uses a calendar.
