Requirements for Graduate Certificate in Microelectronics & Photonics
12 credits with minimum 3.0 GPA
MP core course: 3 credits
Three MP elective courses: 9 credits
COURSE REQUIREMENTS FOR GRADUATE CERTIFICATE:
To earn a Graduate Certificate in the MP program, a student needs to completethe following four courses:
- MP 507 - The introductory core MP course required for all students completing the MP Master's concentration.
- Three elective courses within the MP program.
Courses completed within the MP Graduate Certificate Program are cross listed among the Physics & Engineering Physics, Materials Engineering, and Electrical Engineering Departments and count towards a Master's degree if a student decides to continue beyone the certificate degree to a full Master's degree.
