June 17, 2002 Renovations Pictures

After this week was through, the most noticeable differences to the bowling alley can be seen.  More things have been done this week than any other week.  Several scoring consoles were removed, the ball return racks were removed, and the scoring system wiring was removed.  The front desk control system was also removed.  All gutters and capping on the lanes were taken out this week (except lanes 5 and 6 to allow for a later event).  The ball return for lanes 1-2 was also removed, the ball return for lanes 3-4 will be removed next week in preparation for the new ones.

Please click on a picture below for a full-size image.

Removing what's left of the capping on lane 2.  Note that most of the gutters have also been removed.

Pile of gutters and capping that was removed
View of all the lanes from the desk area.  Note the removal of the consoles on all but the last pair of lanes, and the removal of the ball return on the first pair of lanes.

Ball return on lanes 1-2.  The lift is all that remains and is the only part of the ball return system that will be kept.
